These 5 days Rwanda gorilla and Akagera
wildlife safari will give you a rewarding safari experience combining both
the savannah wildlife and gorilla trekking adventure. Enjoy the game drives
watching lots of wild animals, the BIG 5, and enjoy beautiful scenery.
You will then head to volcanoes national park for a memorable gorilla
trekking adventure in the misty jungles of the Virunga mountains.

Day 1 Arrival and Transfer to Akagera National Park
Arrive Kigali airport, meet your safari driver guide, then depart eastwards of Rwanda to Akagera National park. In the afternoon, you will head out for an amazing canoe ride on Lake Ihema and here, expect to view various aquatic wildlife species like hippopotami and crocodiles among others. Overnight: Akagera Game Lodge
Day 2 Morning Game Drive and Boat Cruise
After breakfast set off for a morning game drive through the savannah woodlands to have a clear glimpse of various wildlife species among which include the hyenas, lions, Impalas, buffaloes, elephants and zebras etc. Full day in the park with packed lunch. Overnight: Akagera Game Lodge
Day 3 Transfer to Volcanoes NP
Have breakfast and proceed with a road trip to Volcanoes National Park in Musanze province. En route; enjoy the beautiful views of the rolling hills and green vegetation. Overnight: Ingagi Park View Lodge
Day 4 Mountain Gorilla Trekking
Enjoy an early morning breakfast and assemble at the Kinigi park head offices for morning briefing on the trekking guidelines before taking onto your adventurous expedition. Usually, it takes about 30 minutes to several hours to encounter the mountain gorillas; but once got, enjoy an hour with them then ascend the volcanoes. Free afternoon for rest and relaxation. Overnight: Ingagi Park View Lodge
Day 5 Return to Kigali and Departure
After morning breakfast; drive back to Kigali, optional Kigali City Tour; visiting the Gisozi Genocide Memorial Site, National Museum and many other exceptional tourist centers within the city before drop off at either a hotel or airport for departure flight. End of services
